In order to demonstrate the high resolution of the data sets generated
with the HREM technique and the broad field of potential applications,
we provide QuickTime movies with underlying grey-scale images as
jpg-files of various specimens of different size and age. In addition
we show some jpg-images of surface rendered 3D models.
Please note that:
1) Image size in the QuickTime movies is reduced to 10 to 20% of the original primary
image size. In addition some data sets are reduced in quality in order
to reduce size and assist download.
2) The grey scale jpg images of each
specimens are of original image size and resolution and are only
marginally reduced in quality. Please
zoom in for 100% to detect details and view the image in its
highest resolution. A small version of the grey scale image is part of
the corresponding movie. They contain scale bars, valid for the entire
data set.
