Data sets showing examples for visualisation of specifically stained structures (DIG and LacZ) in the context of anatomical structures using the HREM technique.

Please note that:
1) In all movies the distance between 2 subsequent images is 2 µm, except for the wild type zebrafish, where it is 3 µm. Scalebars for the x,y dimensions are given in the corresponding jpg-images! The number of images composing one movie depends on the specimen and range from 140 to 700 images. Since we choose to run 10 images/second, the number of the displayed images can be estimated by the running time of the movie.
2) We provide 2 grey scale movies from each specimen. The first, taken with a GFP filter set, primarily shows tissue architecture and anatomical structures, the second, captured with a TX2 filter set enhances the stained structures. Some specimens showed faint unspecific background staining.
3) Please zoom the grey-scale jpg images for 100% in order to show their original resolution!
