The Medical List provides a list of Internet resources dealing with
health, disease, therapy, and clinical medicine to satisfy the broad
general interest in these topics. The Medical List is designed for health
workers and other members of the medical community who may be new
to online communication. Commands for complex Internet utilities, in
depth descriptions of health databases, and specific instructions to
access and retrieve information are presented.
The entries in the document have been selected from the Health
Sciences Resources List posted to Internet by coauthor Lee Hancock.
It has been put together with the efforts of a network of
individuals dedicated to making health resources more accessible.
The guide emphasizes resources that are relevant to medical
practice, interesting to a general population, and easy to retrieve.
Lee Hancock's list covers health science resources comprehensively.
The Medical List is the text of Healthmatrix- a Windows Help,
