Molecular Allergology group
Welcome to the Molecular Allergology group lead by Karin Hoffmann-Sommergruber. We are part of the
Division of Medical Biotechnology at the
Department of Pathophysiology and Allergy Research of the
Medical University of Vienna.
Within the field of allergology, our mission is (i) to increase the knowledge
about the molecular basis of the allergic immune response, (ii) to contribute to
improving the allergic patients' quality of life and (iii) to train interested
students from natural sciences and medicine.
