Die Arbeitsgruppe Experimentelle Onkologie der HNO – Klinik unter der Leitung von Hr. Prof. Dr. D. Thurnher beschäftigt sich mit der Grundlagenforschung in den Bereichen „neue Chemotherapeutika“ und „progostische und prädiktive Faktoren“. Interdisziplinäre Projekte werden gemeinsam mit den Kliniken für Mund-Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie, Onkologie, Pathologie und Strahlentherapie durchgeführt. In der Arbeitsgruppe werden derzeit ein Dissertant und vier Diplomanden bei ihren Arbeiten betreut. Ansprechperson ist neben Hr. Prof.Dr. D. Thurnher bzw. Hr. Dr. M Brunner auch Fr. Ing. H. Martinek, welche im Labor sowohl in Forschung als auch Administration eingebunden ist.
