Die Diagnostik und Behandlung von Speicheldrüsenerkrankungen, insbesondere von Speicheldrüsentumoren stellt einen Schwerpunkt an der Universitätsklinik für Hals-, Nasen- und Ohrenkrankheiten dar. Neben der Betreuung von Patienten wurde die Arbeitsgruppe Speicheldrüsen gebildet, um wissenschaftliche und praktische Aspekte in der Diagnostik und Therapie der Speicheldrüsenerkrankungen weiter zu entwickeln.
