The Department for Systematic Anatomy feels obliged at integrating anatomical sciences and teaching. The employees are heavily involved in the administration and coordination of the integrated curricula of the Medical Universtity of Vienna. At the same time, they head and are involved in numerous national and international scientific projects, for which they provide their expert knowledge in macroscopic and microscopic anatomy.
