Dear friends and colleagues:

       This is to update you on the progress of the international conference on Amino Acids, Peptides and Proteins.


Please submit title of your presentation, authors´names, affiliation and registration form electronically until march 31st May 31st to:

* Invited and oral presentations

We are arranging a series of  oral presentations for the parallel sessions. Please let us know if you are willing to organise and chair a session,even outside the given topics.

Major topics are availble on our website.


* Poster session

At least 200 poster positions are available for you and your students.


* Conference excursions

Various tour options are available on the website. Reservation will be available on the conference site. If one plans to travel for longer duration we could also help arrangements.


* Bring your students

12th International Congress on Amino Acids, Peptides and Proteins August 1-5, 2011, Beijing, provides an excellent opportunity for students to discuss science with leading scholars in various fields of protein, peptide and amino acid chemistry. In addition, top PhD positions with full scholarship will be announced at the last day of the meeting. Please see details at the link of benefit.


* Journal AMINO ACIDS

All abstracts of oral and poster presentations will be published in the conference special issue of Amino Acids. Work presented at the meeting will have review priority when submitted to the journal Amino Acids (impact factor about 4). Selected scientists will be invited to join the editorial board.


* For foreign attendees, visa is usually required to visit China

This might be different from visiting other countries, if official invitation from Chinese government is required please complete the appropriate forms (download) and provide copy of passport to us before July 31st, 2011. Some consulate may not require the official letter. If an invitation from the organizer is required please feel free to let us know.


　

　　This  international event will be held in Beijing, a mega-modern and at the same time  appealingly ancient city. After the conference, you may like to have a tour through China to experience the traditional Chinese culture, find the fascination of terra-cotta figures, etc etc and enjoy the delicious food in China.

　　We look forward to your participation in the must-attend event in amino acid, peptide and protein sciences in 2011. Thank you for your attention and looking  forward to hearing from you before long as the conference is limited to 500 participants.
