Committee on Risk Analysis in the International Statistical Institute

Risk analysis is a vital activity in modern society.  It provides essential guidance for decisions about public policy, medical therapy, financial activity, and international security.  Our committee serves the International Statistical Institute by promoting the development of better risk analysis methodology and advocating for appropriate use of risk analysis in important applications.  Among other activities, we organize scientific conferences.
