Examples
This chapter tries to illustrate the
usability of the implemented macro by use of examples. Macro syntax is written
in Courier
letters in this chapter. For better
understanding some parameters are specified in the examples, that would not be
necessary,
as they are the default anyway. For the examples version 'QC-Trial 3.2' is used.
The data
Data used for the examples is taken from a
two-armed multicenter trial, where as the primary end point variable time till
relapse of coetaneous melanoma is investigated. For this trial, the Department
for Medical Statistics, University of Vienna, acts a data monitoring center.
Data entry and randomization is performed centrally. Data is stored in an
Oracle 7 database, which has been designed with respect to quality
characteristics of interest, as shown in the doctoral thesis.
