Abstract. By image fusion we mean the process of using, in combination, the images taken from an object for the purpose of decision making. This process is commonly done by humans, e.g., by radiologists in cooperation with clinicians. In this paper we propose a methodology for combining images of different modality to partially automate the process of decision making.
