5-HT1A Receptor Distribution Map

Out of our PET data pool we generated a serotonin-1A receptor distribution map of the human brain. This parametric image represents the mean serotonin-1A receptor binding potential of 33 healthy subjects (18 females, 15 males).
All scans were performed with the highly selective radioligand [carbonly-11C] WAY-100635. Individual parametric images were quantified using the simplified reference tissue model 2 and then normalized into the MNI stereotactic space.
This image shall demonstrate the regional 5-HT1A receptor binding in the living human brain and may even serve as a template for coregistration/normalization purposes. Serotonin Transporter Distribution Map

This parametric image represents the mean serotonin transporter binding potential of the human brain and was generated of 10 (male) scans. All scans were performed with the highly selective radioligand [11C]-DASB.
Individual parametric images were quantified using the Logan graphical analysis and then normalized into the MNI stereotactic space.
This image shall demonstrate the regional 5-HTT binding in the living human brain and may even serve as a template for coregistration/normalization purposes.
