Research Interests

We are interested in molecular pathogen-host interactions that shape disease in viral infection. By employing well-defined infection models and complementary techniques of immunology, virology, pathology, metabolomics and systems biology we aim to unravel novel disease-relevant mechanisms of viral pathogenesis, inflammation, immunopathologies and antiviral immunity.
