3D Online Anatomy is a Web page for dynamic java-based visualization of the
anatomical structures. This is an interactive web-launched viewer for learning and understanding of the human anatomy. The 3D
reconstruction is based on the high-resolution thin plastinated slices from Plastination Laboratory of the Institute of Anatomy,
Medical University of Vienna.
3D Online Anatomy allows display and interaction of 3D geometries in web
browser. Dragging the mouse in the Java applet window lets you rotate, translate, or scale on the object.
This visualization system will help students to understand the relationships and topography of anatomical structures.
