Transplant Lab
The transplant lab is part of the Division of Transplantation (Department of Surgery) at the Medical University of Vienna which is one of the most active organ transplant centers in Europe.
Our group's focus is to perform translational research in the area of tolerance induction. The two main research topics of our lab deal with tolerance in organ transplantation and in allergy. We are interested in the development of experimental tolerance regimens with relevance for these two indications and the in-depth mechanistic analysis of such models.
