ABOUT THE WEBSITE AND THE HRP2 ASSAY

The HRP2 drug sensitivity assay was developed at the Department of Immunology and Medicine, Armed Forces Research Institute of Medical Sciences (USAMC-AFRIMS, Bangkok, Thailand) and with support from the Austrian Science Fund.
This website is primarily ment to provide additional information (that is beyond the scope of a printed journal) relating to an article originally published in Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy 2002 Jun; 46(6) dealing with a new experimental approach to malaria drug sensitivity testing (the HRP2 drug sensitivity assay).
This website was originally set up in 2002 and is maintained by H. Noedl. It aims at providing researchers with all the information required to reproduce the new drug sensitivity assay. Please feel free to send us an e-mail if you have any questions on the new assay, the website or the software.
