Martin Aman joined the Christian Doppler Laboratory of Bionic Reconstruction in May 2014. He participated in research projects concerning nerve transfers and finished his diploma thesis project on the Effects of Selective Nerve Transfers on the Adult Motor Unit in 2016 and finished Medical University in 2017.
He was accepted for the Medical University’s program of Excellence MDPhD and started his thesis about implantable multichannel EMG systems to improve the prosthetic interface. Currently he is working on improving the myoelectric prosthetic interface with implantable technology combined with nerve transfers. Furthermore, he was teaching as a tutor for Anatomy and conducted studies abroad in Shanghai, China.
