Assessments for Upper Limb Prosthetics and impaired hands
One of the main aims of our Christian Doppler Laboratory is to restore function of the upper extremity. This includes patients with amputations at different levels, injury of peripheral nerves or massive injuries of the hand or arm. Several surgical and conservative treatments can be performed to achieve restoration of extremity function. To measure the outcome after interventions adequate tests and questionnaires have to be identified for these patients.
