Rector Schütz honored at the 6th Center's Retreat and 140th Anniversary of the Insititue for Hygiene and Applied Immunology

At the 6th Retreat of the Center, held on September 22, 2015, Rector Schütz was honored and the 140th Anniversary of the Insitute for Hygiene and Applied Immunology (HAI) was celebrated. The main part of the Retreat was devoted to the presentation and discussion of 94 projects.
On the occasion of the 6th Retreat of the Center for Pathophysiology, Infectiology and Allergy Research, the special guest Rector Schütz was honored for his longstanding support through his position as Rector of the University by the Head of the Center, Prof. Hannes Stockinger and the Heads of the Institutes, Prof. Wiedermann-Schmidt (ISPTM), Prof. Bohle (IPA) and Prof. Zlabinger (IFI). Prof. Otto Scheiner, the first Head of the Center, chaired the distinction.
Furthermore, the 140th Anniversary of the Institute of Hygiene and Applied Immunology (HAI) was celebrated. The two previous Heads of the Institute, Prof. Heinz Flamm and Prof. Manfred Rotter were invited and gave an overview of their respective period.
