COLLOQUIUM IN PATHOPHYSIOLOGY, INFECTIOLOGY AND IMMUNOLOGY
Herbert Schiller's laboratory at the Helmholtz Zentrum München aims at characterizing the extracellular niche in lung regeneration and the cell-cell communication networks that drive resolution of fibrosis. Using systems biology tools, such as mass spectrometry driven proteomics and single cell genomics, in combination with mouse models of lung disease he wishes to identify fundamental molecular principles of tissue/organ regeneration, homeostasis and fibrosis.
