Katarzyna Niespodziana is Researcher of the Month February 2019
Dr. Katarzyna Niespodziana was selected MedUni Vienna Researcher of the Month, February 2019, for the work „PreDicta chip-based high resolution diagnosis of rhinovirus-induced wheeze“, published in „Nature Communications“.
The multidisciplinary study was part of the EU project "PreDicta" at the Institute of Pathophysiology and Allergy Research (Head: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Barbara Bohle) in the Department of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Rudolf Valenta (Head of the Department of Immunopathology) in collaboration with the working groups of Prof. Gunilla Hedlin (Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden), Prof. Marianne van Hage (Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden) and Prof. Nikolaos G. Papadopoulos (University of Manchester, Manchester, UK and University of Athens, Athens, Greece).
For this publication, Katarzyna Niespodziana has already been awarded the Best Publication Prize at the 9th Center's Retreat.
