Big success for the Center at the Austrian Science Fund
At the last Board Meeting of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) two doctoral programs were approved with a high contribution of the Centre.
I am happy to report that at the last Board Meeting of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) earlier this week, two doctoral programs were approved with a high contribution of the Centre. The doctoral program with the strongest Center integration, Molecular, Cellular and Clinical Allergology (MCCA) is also under the direction of one of our Center's members, Winfried Pickl. The speaker of the second doctoral program, Cell Communication in Health and Disease (CCHD) is Stephan Boehm from the Pharmacology.
The participating project leaders of our Center are Barbara BOHLE, Heimo BREITENDER, Margarete FOCKE-TEJKL, Karin HOFFMANN-SOMMERGRUBER, Beatrice JAHN-SCHMID, Erika JENSEN-JAROLIM, Winfried PICKL, Peter STEINBERGER, Rudolf VALENTA, Susanne VRTALA, Ursula WIEDERMANN-SCHMIDT and myself. With the approved projects of a total budget of 3.5 million Euros, 20 PhD training positions can be established.
