140 Years Hygiene Institute celebrated at the 6th Center's Retreat

At the beginning of the 6th Retreat of the Center for Pathophysiology, Infectiology and Immunology, held on September 22, 2015, Rector Schütz was honored and the 140th anniversary of the Insitute for Hygiene and Applied Immunology was celebrated.

As special guest at the Retreat, Rector Schütz was honored for his longstanding support for the Center through his position as Rector of the University.

Furthermore, the 140th anniversary of the Institute for Hygiene and Applied Immunology was celebrated. The two previous Heads of the Institute, Prof. Heinz Flamm and Prof. Manfred Rotter were invited and gave an overview of their respective period.

• The main part of the retreat was devoted to the presentation and discussion of 94 projects.
