Highly respected are our research activities in the field of hygiene and ecology of water, in particular the biopathological alterations through environmental- and climate changes. Internationally recognized is also our research in respect to growth, pathogenicity and diagnosis of bacterial infections, specifically borelliosis. Internationally highly respected is also our work to better understand regulation of T cells, which upon hyporeaction are the cause of infectious diseases and cancer, upon hyperreaction the cause of autoimmunity and allergy. Details to the individual research projects you will find under the respective column of the Research Unit.
