„Principles of Bone and Joint Research“ edited by Pietschmann and published by Springer Nature
Under the editorship of Peter Pietschmann the book “Principles of Bone and Joint Research” has been published by Springer Nature as part of the textbook series “Learning Materials in Biosciences”. Peter Pietschmann and Ursula Föger-Samwald contributed two chapters on “Bone Turnover Markers” and the “Pathophysiology of Bone Fragility”.
This book is intended as an accompanying book for the Doctor of Applied Medical Science program in “Bone and Joint Regeneration” of the Medical University of Vienna and similar doctoral or master’s programs. It offers a comprehensive overview on basic principles and methods of bone and joint research. Moreover, pathophysiological aspects of selected musculoskeletal and oral diseases are described.
