In memory of Professor Maurizio Bruschi

It is with great sadness that we communicate the passing on February 15th of Prof. Maurizio Bruschi, esteemed Professor of Chemistry at the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy).
Prof. Bruschi had actively collaborated with Prof. Hoffmann-Sommergruber’s group, providing a fundamental contribution to the computational study of food allergens, resulting in a recent paper in Allergy (2019).
He was a brilliant, passionate scientist, with a great intellectual honesty accompanied by a sensitive soul and a lively mind.

Our deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
