"Tag des Hundes“, 3. Juni 2018

Judit Fazekas-Singer aus dem Jensen-Jarolim Lab generierte in ihrer PhD Arbeit ein Immunglobulin der Klasse IgE, welches bei Hunden mit Krebserkrankung eingesetzt werden kann.

Es soll wegbereitend für eine spätere Anwendung dieser besonderen Immungloibulinklasse, die wir sonst nur aus der Allergie her kennen,  bei Krebserkrankungen des Menschen sein. Die Arbeit wurde im Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology im Juni 2018 publiziert.

Judit Fazekas-Singer from the Jensen-Jarolim Lab in her PhD works generated an immunoglobulin of the IgE class to be applied in dogs suffering from cancer. It shall open up new avenues towards a clinical application of IgE against cancer, an immunoglobulin class otherwise known for its detrimental role in allergies.
