Since its foundation in April 2011, more than 2.000.000 CPU hours have been used by our researchers, most of if using the Monte Carlo toolkit GATE.
Currently our cluster harvests unused computational ressources of more than 110 student PCs provided by the ITSC and a number of workstations of the coperating departments. These are connected with one dedicated central node handling the file storage as well as the job management. Up to 180 CPU cores are available at the moment.
