Infrastructure and Instrumentation
The MS laboratory is equipped with a quadrupole time-of-flight (QTOF) mass spectrometer (Waters) and three recently-acquired, latest-generation hybrid linear trap (LTQ) Orbitrap Velos mass spectrometers (ThermoFisher). Each mass spectrometer is coupled to a nano-high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system (Agilent) for on-line liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LCMS). An additional HPLC is available for peptide and/or protein fractionation. Laboratory infrastructure also includes cell culture, biochemistry laboratory and separate space for sample preparation for mass spectrometric analysis.
