After successfully attending the Basics of Neuroscience lecture series it is required to participate in the practical course “Methods and Techniques in Neuroscience”. The lecture Methods and Techniques in Neuroscience can only be attended in combination with the lab rotation.
Research units lead small groups of students (max. 12) through the theory and practice of techniques used in neuroscience research. The topics covered are: neuroanatomy, Neurophysiology, Bioinformatics and Physiology, Molecular Biology, Synaptogenesis and Optical Imaging, Molecular Neuroscience, Cognitive Neurobiology, Neuroimmunology, and Magnetic Resonance.
