Research fields of participating supervisors, who are referred to as the faculty, cover a broad variety of topics in fields of Neuroscience, metabolism and nutrition, ranging from basic research on molecular mechanisms, cellular and biochemical functions, regulatory cycles and experimental animals to applied topics including clinical studies about new therapies. Please find brief descriptions of the research interests and experimental approaches, which are the focus of the individual faculty members, via the links on the left.

If you are interested in a doctoral thesis under supervision of a particular supervisor, please contact the supervisor directly.
