Admission for Students

If you seek admission to a doctoral program of Endocrinology, proceed as follows:

1. Check whether you meet all formal conditions for admission. Please find detailed information about all formal conditions, procedures and forms required for » admission on the homepage of the Medical University of Vienna. The admission procedure is processed by the Office for Student Affairs.
2. Consider in particular that it is essential for admission to specify a doctoral thesis project, which has the confirmed support from a qualified » supervisor.  
3. For selection of the appropriate doctoral program, N094 or N790, please ask your prospective supervisor or contact the » program coordinator or the general student information. One precondition for N094 is that funding must have been awarded to the supervisor from a competitive peer review process (which most likely will occur in the course of a grant application).
4. Once you are enroled in the program, consider that the initial agreement with a prospective supervisor must be followed by final acceptance of the doctoral thesis project by the University. To this end, » thesis proposal and thesis registration need to be submitted within the first semester.
