The aim of this study is to determine the oncological safety and comparability of limited retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy (so called lumpectomy) for residual retroperitoneal masses after chemotherapy in testicular cancer patients who underwent surgery at our department in comparison to the results of standard extended and template retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy published in the literature. Further, the outcome of lumpectomy regarding sexual function and infertility are evaluated with a questionnaire are compared to the results of standard retroperitoneal template and extended lymphadenectomy published in the literature. Additionally, testosterone values during the course of therapy are retrospectively collected.
