To participate in the doctoral programs, a student, a supervisor, and a research project are required. Research fields of participating supervisors, who are referred to as the faculty, cover a broad variety of topics in fields of endocrinology, metabolism and nutrition, which range from basic research about molecular mechanisms, cellular and biochemical functions, regulatory cycles and experimental animals to applied topics like clinical studies about new therapies or epidemiology. Please find brief descriptions of the research interests and experimental approaches, which are in the focus of the individual faculty members, via the links on the left.
If you are interested in a doctoral thesis under supervision of a particular supervisor, please establish contact directly.
