Institute of Immunology, CPII
Seminar room 1st floor
Lazarettgasse 19

We cordially invite you to an exciting workshop, which will take place at the Institute of Immunology, Medical University of Vienna.Proteomics is an essential part of modern omics-scale immunology research. Quantitative mass spectrometry of proteins has evolved dramatically over the last decade and gained wide acceptance in research settings. Mass spectrometry provides solutions for protein meassurements and identification that are sometimes difficult or even impossible to accomplish by immunological methods such as quantification of protein isoforms, closely related proteins or even the identification of environmental bacterial strains and metabolites. Our invited speakers will explain the principles of mass spectrometry and the scope of applications in immunological and molecular biology.
