DTSTART;VALUE=DATE:20250217
DTEND;VALUE=DATE:20250220
DESCRIPTION:Abstract: Winter School: Translational In Vivo Imaging\n\nThe W
inter School on "Translational In Vivo Imaging" is scheduled to take place
from February 17 to 19\, 2025\, at the Medical University of Vienna. This
event\, organized by Claudia Kuntner-Hannes\, Ines Lopez Martinez\, Thoma
s Wanek\, and Thomas Helbich aims to provide participants with an in-depth
understanding of various imaging techniques and therapeutic applications
in a preclinical setting.\n\nThe first day will focus on animal models of
osteosarcoma and the ethical considerations surrounding animal experiments
\, along with insights into fundamentals of imaging techniques\, radiotrac
 ers\, contrast agents\, and artificial intelligence applications.\n\nDay t
wo continues with a comprehensive exploration of advanced imaging modaliti
es\, including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)\, Positron Emission Tomogr
aphy (PET)\, and Computed Tomography (CT)\, along with discussions on tran
slation errors and image analysis.\n\nThe final day includes sessions on o
ptical imaging and ultrasound\, followed by a focus on radiation therapy a
nd microscopy techniques. The program culminates in a visit to the Preclin
ical Imaging laboratories\, allowing participants to gain hands-on experie
nce and insights into current research practices in the field.\n\nThis win
ter school presents a unique opportunity for professionals and students to
enhance their knowledge and skills in preclinical imaging research.\n\nKe
