(Vienna, 3 August 2010) As of 1 August 2010, Fabien Martins (41) will take over commercial management of Max F. Perutz Laboratories (MFPL), a subsidiary of the University of Vienna and of the Medical University of Vienna.
Born in France, he boasts a business degree and many years of professional experience in management and the financial sector. In this position he follows Harald Hochreiter, who accompanied MFPL since its foundation in 2005. Before his change to MFPL, Fabien Martins worked as CEE Finance Director at Eurofins, a laboratory services provider that is active across Europe. Other major stations in his professional career: eight years at ThyssenKrupp AG; several years at the business consultancy firm KPMG in Germany; as well as various enterprises of the chemical industry and medical technology.
