Bilateral Action Schemes: Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary

The bilateral campaigns are programmes with Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. They promote academic mobility as well as cooperation projects in science, research and education.

Within the framework of ERASMUS, the incoming programme for Traineeships (the Clinical Practical Year KPJ, Clerkships etc.) for the winter semester 2020/21 in the period 3.8.20-21.02.21 is cancelled by MedUni Vienna.

Please note that the application procedure for the summer term 2021 will be performed with reservation regarding any unpredictable future developments (COVID19).

A competence in Central European matters, professional networking and cross-border networks, language and culture are just a few benefits of the bilateral campaign programmes. Since 1989, Austria has cultivated an exchange in science, research and education with the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The programmes are for staff and students of the universities as well as certain research institutions of the participating countries. A stay can last from three days to nine months and also be extended when indicated. Activities such as course attendance, research, cooperation and language courses can receive funding.      

The application occurs through the Österreichische Austauschdienst OeAD, the recognition of the international study performance occurs in arrangement with the International Office for Student & Staff Affairs of MedUni Vienna.
