Supplementary Examination

Biology

The supplementary examination in Biology has to be taken before admission to the degree programme, if one does not have evidence of the completion of the mandatory subject on the school report or on the secondary school leaving qualification to the extent of one hour per week.


Students, who cannot provide evidence of having taken Biology, have to take a supplementary examination, before being admitted.

They can

  • either take it at the Stadtschulrat für Wien (the Vienna School Authority) or at one of the Provincial School Authorities.

  • or take the Studienberechtigungs-Teilprüfung Biologie und Umweltkunde at the Volkshochschule Wien.

Notice

Applicants, who obtained their secondary school leaving qualification outside of Austria, may only take the supplementary examination in the framework of the Studienberechtigungs-Teilprüfung Biologie und Umweltkunde at the Volkshochschule Wien or they have to turn to the school authorities of their country of the respective country.
