DESCRIPTION:Nikolaos (Nick) Skubas is the Chair of Enterprise Cardiothoraci
 c and Vascular Anesthesiology at Cleveland Clinic and a Professor of Anest
 hesiology at the Lerner College of Medicine\, Case Western Reserve Univers
 ity\, in Cleveland\, Ohio.\n\n Nikolaos Skubas has published extensively i
 n peer-reviewed journals and co-authored practice guidelines sponsored by 
 the American Society of Echocardiography\, the American College of Cardiol
 ogy\, and the American Heart Association. He is a co-editor of Savage & Ar
 onson’s Comprehensive Textbook of Perioperative & Critical Care Transeso
 phageal Echocardiography and serves as an Associate Editor for the journal
 \n Anesthesiology.\n\nHe is also a member of the Board of Directors of the
  National Board of Echocardiography and chairs the Basic PTeXAM writing co
 mmittee.
