Sigmund Freud Anecdote Source/psychoanalysis listserv

1. A patron has checked the standard Freud biographies with no luck to
find the source for the following anecdote:

In either a meeting setting or with a group of friends Freud was smoking
a cigar, and was known for being something of a chain cigar smoker. One
of the persons present asked Freud if this habit of his was a reflection
of Freud's never having left his 'oral' phase. Freud then said "There
are times when a cigar is just a cigar" or words to that effect. The
patron is looking for a reference to substantiate that Freud made such a
comment.

2. If you don't have a citation for this anecdote but do know of a
listserv for psychoanalysis/Freud studies, that would also be a valuable
piece of information.

Many thanks.

management research in areas including, but not limited to the following:

Research. Each abstract should contain sufficient detail to permit reviewers to
judge its suitability, and should be accompanied by a covering letter stating the
abstract title, authors (including the name of the contact person), address,
telephone number, and if available, fax number and e-mail address for the
contact person. Authors whose abstracts are accepted will be invited to develop
the abstracts into full papers of not more than 5000 words in length for

published, and that the symposium will become a regular event.

Submitted papers should not be simultaneously submitted elsewhere, or have
been previously published.

carried out, and why this work is important. Proposals should be accompanied
by a covering letter stating the poster title, authors (including the name of the
contact person), address, telephone number, and if available, fax

and active exchange of ideas between researchers and practitioners.
Workshop proposals should include a clear description of the workshop
topic / objectives, the intended audience, the proposed length (in hours), an
