Thesis Proposal & Registration
As soon as you have been selected and agreed with your supervisor on a peer-reviewed, funded research project it is important that you contact Ms. Geisbichler (sabine.geisbichler@meduniwien.ac.at) in order to let us know that you will be part of the PhD program neuroscience to ensure that you will receive all necessary information regarding the program.
Next to the filling of the contract as an employ of the MedUni Wien together with your supervisor you then submit as soon as possible the “thesis concept” to the department for study affairs (Contact).
Within the first two semesters you should work out and submit the "Thesis Proposal" and "Registration of the Doctoral Thesis". You will have to select a thesis committee that should follow and help you to success in answering your research questions. Please carefully consider aspects such as technical help in your project or in-depth knowledge on the research topic when selecting the thesis committee together with our supervisor. You should consult the thesis committee at least once a year within a dedicated meeting, and then submit a short report. Find the relevant pdf documents here:
