Biochemical properties

The ubiquinol-cytochrome C reductase complex (cytochrome bc1 complex) is a respiratory multienzyme complex [1]. The 14 kD subunit, also named subunit 7, is not directly involved in electron transfer, but has a role in assembly of the complex [2].

Allergens from this family

Der p 24 and Der f 24 were identified as major house dust mite allergens.
