Biochemical properties

Members of this family are found in eukaryotes. Their functions are mostly unknown. One family member is SCAI (suppressor of cancer cell invasion), a transcriptional cofactor and tumour suppressor [1].

By screening a cDNA library, Tri a 43 was identified as a minor wheat allergen.
