Biochemical properties

This family of fungal proteins is closely-related to the metalloprotease M35 family (Pfam:PF02102). The function of these proteins is unkonwn.

Allergens from this family

ASp f 2 from Aspergillus fumigatus is a major allergen for patients with allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis [1].
