Individuals at extremely high risk of developing psychosis appear less likely to develop psychotic disorders following a 12-week course of fish oil capsules containing long-chain omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, according to a report in the February issue of Archives of General Psychiatry, one of the JAMA/Archives journals.

 
 

(Vienna, 2 Feb. 2010) MedUni Vienna is starting the 2010 summer semester with two new postgraduate courses. The newly-created university courses will begin in March on the future-oriented themes of "Gender Medicine" and "Clinical Research".

The first conference on the future of academic personnel management, which was held last Monday on the initiative of the two Vice Rectors Karin Gutiérrez-Lobos (MedUni Vienna) and Doris Carstensen (Graz University of Arts), attracted a great deal of interest.
