The academic graduation ceremony with the presentation of the diploma is an important celebration for every graduate. As a guest, you play an important role in shaping this event: through your presence, your shared joy and your vocal support.

Here we have also compiled important and helpful information for your visit:
- The celebration will take place in the Great Hall of the Wiener Konzerthauses. The Wiener Konzerthaus, is located in the center of Vienna, so you can reach it best by public transport (U4 "Stadtpark"; U1 "Karlsplatz"; 2, 71, D "Schwarzenbergplatz", 4A "Akademietheater"). For cars there are parking garages in the immediate vicinity (Beethovenplatz, Am Heumarkt, Intercont). If you are coming from out of town, please consider the Park & Ride - possibilities (www.parkandride.at).
- The Academic Ceremony lasts about 75 minutes - the start time of the ceremony can be found on your admission ticket, which you received from your:r graduate:in. It is best to arrive about a half hour before the ceremony begins.
- Admission is possible only with a valid ticket. Children also require a ticket.
- The house rules of the Wiener Konzerthaus and the Vienna Venue Act require that coats, hats, bags, umbrellas, walking aids, etc. must be left in the checkrooms. People with physical disabilities may, of course, leave their walking aids outside the checkrooms in the immediate vicinity of their seats. Please also leave any gifts at the checkroom. For safety reasons, it is not possible to bring baby carriages or similar into the auditorium. The graduate must register wheelchairs or walkers with the Medical University of Vienna and will then be provided with appropriate barrier-free seats.
- During the Academic Ceremony, film and photo recordings will be made, which can be published on MedUni Vienna communication channels or the portal of our photo partner (Zolles photo agency). The photos are available 2-3 days after the event via an internet portal (www.meduniwien.ac.at/sponsionsfotos). All pictures can be viewed in a photo album and, if interested, can be ordered directly from our photo partner Bildagentur Zolles as a photo print in various sizes or file. The ceremony will also be filmed - the graduates will receive the link to the film about a week after the ceremony. - You can also take photos or film yourself from your own seat, please remain seated out of consideration for the other guests.
