The completion of a degree at the Medical University of Vienna should be celebrated. That is why MedUni Vienna regularly invites its graduates to graduation ceremonies.
Academic degree
- Graduates of the master's program Molecular Precision Medicine are awarded the academic degree "Master of Science" (MSc).
- In case of guidance, this academic degree is to be placed after the name.
Participation in a graduation ceremony
Once you have received your graduation certificate in the Student Affairs Department, you can also register for the ceremony there. Depending on demand, a graduation ceremony is held 1 times a year (Jenuary - February) to provide a dignified setting for the university graduation.
Registration: 6 weeks before the start of the ceremony
Costs: EUR 80,- This amount covers all expenses of the celebration.
Certificate: You will receive a personal certificate
Date / Start: expected 12.01.2026 from 16:00 (students should be present 60 minutes before the start of the ceremony)
Location: Van Swieten Saal - Van-Swieten-Gasse 1a, 1090 Wien (near Study Department)
Academic graduation ceremony
In the academic year 2024/25, the first cohort of the Master's degree program in Molecular Precision Medicine graduated. The graduates received their diplomas at an academic graduation ceremony together with their colleagues from the Master's degree program in Medical Informatics.
