Digitalisation, automation and artificial intelligence (AI) are revolutionising the healthcare system. AI is becoming increasingly important in clinical practice and research, and both doctors and healthcare professionals as well as patients are being supported by cognitive systems.
The Medical University of Vienna is an important player in this progress and is developing AI technologies to take healthcare to a new level. Careful consideration must be given to where AI makes sense and can assist doctors as a supportive tool, and where psychological and social factors still need to be taken into account by human diagnosticians.
These and other questions will be discussed on the panel: (German only)
