(Berlin/Vienna, 31 May 2017) MedUni Vienna's new website has been nominated for the German Online Communications Prize 2017 in the "Website" category. This prestigious award recognises achievements in the area of digital communications.
The new website is part of MedUni Vienna's harmonised Corporate Design, introduced in August 2016. This new corporate design is the result of a long brand-development process, which took several years and involved contributions from employees throughout the university. The website was designed in collaboration with Fonda – Agency for Digital Media and Communications – and was built by their experts. The new website focuses on conveying content appropriately to the various target groups (students, researchers, doctors, members of the public) and informing about MedUni Vienna's activities in the fields of research, education and clinical services. The technical focus of the new website is on optimum usability on all end devices and on maximum accessibility.
2017 will be the seventh year that the German Online Communications Prize has been awarded. Awards are given to the best digital communications projects and campaigns in 39 different categories – ranging from product launch to social media presence.
